Square Washers

Steel washers come in various forms, including square washers, curved washers, and spring washers. These metal washers serve as critical accessories for items such as oval eye bolts, pigtail bolts, thimble eye bolts, hex bolts and nuts, as well as square bolts and nuts.

FERR square washers are specifically designed to be used under bolt heads and nuts to evenly distribute load and prevent embedding into wood or composite surfaces. They form an integral part of transmission line fastener kits.

The flat square washer, also known as a plate washer, is typically used on square concrete pole lines to prevent the eye bolt from slipping off. Meanwhile, the curved washer is applied to wooden poles, with its curved design perfectly conforming to the raised surface of the wooden pole.

Both square and curved washers feature a hole at their center, whose diameter matches the eye bolt diameter to allow the thread to pass through easily.
