Rod top pins are made from hot freshly rolled steel. The steel is heated to a red color and stamped into the designed shape. The surface of the bar top pin is hot dipped galvanized and is fairly smooth with no burrs or other sharp projections.
FERR supplies a complete range of Pole Top Pins used to support insulators and conductors at the top of utility poles. Designed for either wood, concrete, or steel poles, our pole top pins ensure secure placement of the insulator and maintain proper conductor alignment in distribution networks.
Made from forged steel or malleable iron, and hot-dip galvanized for rust resistance, our pole top pins comply with ANSI C135.2 and other international utility standards.
