Flat crossarm brackets are functionally similar to alley arm brackets and angle brackets, but differ in structural design.
FERR’s Crossarm Braces are used to connect poles to horizontal crossarms, providing structural support that effectively minimizes bending and twisting that occurs under load. These brackets are widely used in transmission and distribution lines to ensure line stability and performance.
The crossarm brackets hold the electrical crossarms using bolts and nuts, which not only serve to support the electrical crossarms but also make the crossarms on the poles more stable and reliable. Typically, these brackets are installed in pairs to ensure optimal support.
It is important to note that the crossarm brackets are designed to be made entirely of monolithic carbon steel, with no welds or connecting parts in their construction. They are available in lengths of 20, 26, 28, or 32 inches and are 1/4 inch thick. One end of the bracket has a 9/16-inch diameter hole and the other end has a 7/16-inch diameter hole to accommodate mounting requirements.
The flat cross arm brackets are made from high quality flat steel with an ultimate tensile strength range of 410N/mm² to 560N/mm². Before production, Rax Industry QC rigorously tests all batch materials to ensure that the quality of the product meets the requirements.
