These caps are manufactured in various standards, accommodating mechanical resistance ranges from 40KN to 1000KN to suit diverse applications across substations and power networks. The different design types include socket models (40KN-1000KN), tongue models (40KN-80KN), and clevis models (40KN-300KN), tailored for specific use cases.

For environments with heavy pollution or as per client request, caps for suspension insulators can be sealed with an anti-corrosion zinc sleeve. This protective coating is particularly recommended for insulators in such challenging conditions and is typically included in insulators designed for direct current lines.
