Power Hub Screw Anchor

FERR’s Power Hub Screw Anchor have a center hub design that transmits loads uniformly into the ground and are commonly used in high stress foundation applications in the energy infrastructure and telecommunications sectors.

The anchors are vortex-distributing spiral anchors that are suitable for use in good soil conditions with normal load-bearing capacity.

There are two types of helical anchors:

– RR (round rod type) spiral anchors
– SS (Square Shaft) Screw Anchors

Both types are suitable for heavy-duty anchoring tasks and consist of the following three galvanized parts:

1. the lead-in part
2. extension shaft (with integral coupler)
3. anchor adapter

In addition, the anchor adapter and the extension shaft are secured using high-strength bolts and nuts, which reinforce the structural stability.

A 7-foot long rod is typically used in standard installations to meet expected anchorage load requirements, although in some scenarios it may be necessary to add additional anchorage depth.

Additional rods of 3.5 feet or 7 feet in length can be added during installation. Extended connections are made with couplings or additional torque tubes to ensure a solid connection of the additional rods. In addition, the Power Hub Anchor can be adapted for deeper installations to enhance overall performance.
