A secondary clevis is a type of spool insulator holder that is stamped from flat steel with a clevis pin that strings the spool insulator together. Secondary clevis is mainly used for low voltage dead end or corner pole line or overhead line, also known as dead end clevis, D-iron D-type holder or insulator D-iron.
FERR’s Secondary Clevises are critical hardware components for attaching suspension insulators and secondary conductors to utility poles. These clevis fittings provide a pivoting connection that relieves mechanical stress from conductor movement.
